Tribal wisdom continues to remind us of our need for establishing and maintaining a community, real and/or virtual. It is unproven whether we can survive with only a virtual (electronic) community. Many of us live in a complex world, overloaded with options.
Many of us find that religious groups and other organizations which are centered upon a single cause to be confining to our spirit. We enjoyed conventions, lectures, and the most recent life changing books and cds only to find that these inspiring contributions diminish with time. However, when we stay active within a community these wonderful works become refreshed within us. A new way of interfacing with others whether we are single, in a relationship, young or old - being a part of our community allows for an expanded lifestyle.
Many of us think it is important to feel like we are contributing to a cause and or community. Thus, we encourage our members to participate in the continuing organic unfoldment of the CCOC. Some examples are: help facilitate or develop a program; help with distributing brochures; assist with administrative tasks; provide computer support, and etc.
